Flashpoint April 2012 - UPDATE

It’s been a while…
It has been a few weeks since our last update to our news/blog pages here on our website, but there has been lots going on at Flashpoint in the run up to our summer season with lots of bookings for weddings and summer events. We have some great displays booked including a fantastic local display for Godalming Town for the Queens Jubilee. We will also be providing the displays for the Summer Nights at Loseley Park concerts from the 16th-19th August 2012. It really does look like it will be a fantastic event to attend, please visit >>> for more information and to book your tickets.

Last week we provide a display for a client near Maidenhead. The venue has a wonderful lake so we decided to use a aquatic display cake, watch out for the cake at 3:50 that sends comets from the lake into the air at 3:57. We decide to shoot the video so you could see what happens on the firing site during one of our smaller five-minute display. The client was really pleased with the display and everyone was really impressed with the “firework that went off on the water”.

Capethorne Hall - Firework Champions Event
Also in August this year we will be taking part in another competition, you can’t keep us away from them really! Jon Robinson is hard at work designing the display as we type this. We have some great music tracks lined up for this display. Why not come along and see our display on the 11th August 2012 at Capsthorne. For more details visit we look forward to seeing you there.

6th May - Guildford Cathedrals Jubilee Ball display

Flashpoint Fireworks
were delighted to put on a magical finale to the celebrations at Guildford Cathedral on the 6th May 2011. With the guest list including many important dignitaries, local businesses and council members, it was decided that the display would be designed to Tchaikovsky's ‘1812 Overture’ - see above.

Caroline Simcox the event organiser said “What can I say, but thank you so very much to you and all your team for the fantastic firework display on Friday night to celebrate the Golden Jubilee. It was, without question, the absolute highlight of the evening and everyone I have spoken to since say it is the best musical display they have ever seen”. We were really please with the display and expect the whole of Guildford wondered what it was all about.

If you would like further information about these types of displays or any other please use the contact us form on this site or call us on 01483 417475. We look forward to hearing from you.
